Merchandiser in Zayed City, UAE
We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Zayed City. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the retail industry and be able to provide excellent customer service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding our existing product portfolio as well as sourcing new products to meet customer needs. They will also be required to plan and execute promotional activities, both in store and online, in order to maximize sales opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
• Developing an understanding of customer needs and preferences, both in-store and online;
• Sourcing new products that meet customer needs;
• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors;
• Creating promotional activities such as discounts and special offers;
• Planning window displays, point of sale displays, signage, and other visual merchandising techniques;
• Analyzing sales data to identify trends;
• Maintaining inventory levels by tracking stock movements and ordering new items when necessary;
• Collaborating with marketing teams on campaigns.
The successful candidate should possess:
• A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field;
• A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a similar role;
• Excellent customer service skills;
• Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks;
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data quickly and accurately;
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal);
