Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. This is a full-time position that requires strong attention to detail and a passion for carpentry. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting furniture and other items using a variety of materials. The Carpenter will work with clients to create bespoke pieces, as well as repair existing furniture and other items.

Requirements for the Candidate
The ideal candidate should have excellent woodworking skills and experience working with a variety of tools and materials. They should have an eye for detail, be able to work independently, and be able to read plans or drawings accurately. Candidates should possess excellent problem-solving skills in order to identify potential issues during the carpentry process, as well as good communication skills for interacting with customers. A valid driver’s license is also required for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Construct furniture or other items as instructed by customers
• Ensure all measurements are accurate before cutting materials
• Read plans or drawings accurately in order to craft pieces correctly
• Repair existing furniture or other items that have been damaged
• Consult with customers regarding the design of bespoke pieces
• Ensure all tools are used safely at all times
• Maintain a clean workspace

Working Hours
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with some flexibility depending on customer needs
