Job Summary:
Our client is currently looking for a highly motivated Welder who will be responsible for creating products by welding parts and materials. The successful candidate must be able to operate welding machines, use hand tools and read blueprints accurately.

Needs for the Candidate:
The ideal candidate should have at least minimal work experience and be able to work independently. He/She should also have the ability to read blueprints accurately, follow instructions carefully, and demonstrate a good understanding of the welding process. The candidate should also possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal as well as good problem solving skills.

Job Responsibilities:
• Monitor welding machines during use; make adjustments when necessary
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal parts together
• Follow instructions from supervisors regarding the type of weld needed on each job
• Read blueprints and drawings in order to understand specifications
• Work with various metals including steel, aluminum, brass, stainless steel etc • Calculate dimensions using measuring tools such as calipers or micrometers • Ensure all safety protocols are being followed at all times • Maintain records of work completed • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required • Minimum 1 year of experience in welding • Ability to read blueprints accurately • Knowledge of various metals • Good problem solving skills • Strong communication skills both written and verbal • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
