Data Analyst
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team in Khawr Fakkan and help us uncover the insights hidden in vast amounts of data to drive better decisions. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.

Requirements for the Candidate:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques (e.g., linear regression, logistic regression)
• Working knowledge of database systems (e.g., SQL)
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate findings to a non-technical audience
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Description of Duties:
The Data Analyst is responsible for gathering, organizing, interpreting, analyzing and visualizing large datasets to identify trends and patterns that provide actionable insights. This role will collaborate with the IT department to develop methods for collecting data from various sources, including internal databases and external sources such as website analytics tools. The Data Analyst is also responsible for creating reports that include charts, graphs and other visuals that help stakeholders better understand the data collected. Additionally, this role will work across departments to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

List of Desirable Skills:
• Experience with forecasting/predictive analytics tools like Tableau/SPSS/R/Python/etc.
• Experience with automation tools like Zapier or IFTTT would be an asset.
• Knowledge of web analytics tools like Google Analytics or Mixpanel would be beneficial.
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms is an added advantage.
