We are looking for an experienced Instrument Technician for our division at Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate should have a strong background in the installation, maintenance and repair of instruments used in the industrial and/or electrical engineering fields. We are willing to consider a foreigner for this role.

The ideal applicant will have a combination of technical expertise, problem solving skills, communication ability, and experience working on projects within tight deadlines. The successful candidate should also possess the following qualifications:
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in instrumentation installation, maintenance and repair in an industrial setting
• Excellent understanding of electrical circuits, wiring diagrams, and other engineering drawings
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals
• Ability to troubleshoot complex problems quickly and identify solutions
• Strong communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively with managers, colleagues, customers and vendors

As an Instrument Technician you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance tasks on instrumentation systems such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature controllers etc., Troubleshoot malfunctions of instrumentation systems using oscilloscopes or other testing equipment; install control devices; calibrate instruments; perform routine maintenance; document results; provide technical advice about product use; assist with training customers on product use; liaise with vendors regarding equipment repairs; update records; keep track of inventory levels etc.
