Accountant in Al-Kuwait, Kuwait


We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks at once.

The ideal candidate will have an up-to-date understanding of accounting principles, have a proven record of success in a similar role, and possess strong communication skills.

Responsibilities include:
• Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
• Manage all accounting operations including billing, collections, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts and general ledger
• Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices and other accounting documents
• Track and reconcile bank statements
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and procedures
• Assist with year-end close processes
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification is a plus but not required
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an accountant or related field
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) as well as QuickBooks
