Job Summary:
This position is for an Accountant at Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all accounting and financial activities of the company. They must ensure accuracy in financial records and reports, as well as compliance with financial regulations. The salary for this position is 1100KWD.

Job Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and reports in accordance with accepted accounting standards and procedures
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures
• Prepare and review budget proposals, monitor expenses and manage cost control
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements in a timely manner
• Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, profit/loss statements etc.
• Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources
• Generate month-end reports to provide accurate insights into business performance indicators to management
• Assist in filing taxes accurately according to relevant laws and regulations
• Develop internal control systems to minimize risk of errors or fraud
• Provide guidance on investment activities and decisions

Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
• At least 2 years of work experience in an accounting role required
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices; ability to apply them in different situations
• Technical proficiency with accounting software packages (Quicken, Microsoft Dynamics GP)
• Proven analytical skills: ability to identify problems quickly and offer solutions promptly
• Exceptional attention to detail; accuracy is essential when handling financial data
• Knowledge of tax laws required; ability to perform complex tax calculations a plus
• Organized approach with superior multitasking skills; able to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
