The primary duties of this role include:
- Constructing furniture using both hand tools and power tools such as saws, planes, sanders, routers, jointers etc.
- Installing cabinets or other fixtures in homes or buildings
- Building door frames, windows frames, staircases etc. from scratch or from pre cut materials
- Repairing existing furniture or fixtures when needed
- Reading blueprints/drawings/technical illustrations to understand specifications

Applicants must have an eye for detail and be able to work on projects from start to finish; this includes measuring, cutting and assembling components accurately to ensure that the finished product meets quality standards. We also require that applicants be familiar with safety procedures when using carpentry tools and equipment.
