Petroleum Engineer

A Petroleum Engineer is required for a major oil and gas company in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of technical solutions for oil and gas operations, as well as exploration and production activities.

The engineer will provide support to the various departments within the organization by providing technical advice on the best way to operate, develop and maintain oil fields. They will be expected to stay up-to-date with industry changes and trends in order to ensure that the operations are running efficiently. The successful engineer must have experience in drilling, reservoir engineering and production engineering practices, as well as a thorough knowledge of relevant regulations.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field, plus 5 years of experience working in an oil or gas company. A valid driver’s license is also essential, as well as excellent communication skills – both written and oral – in English. Candidates must also be able to work independently with minimal supervision, while showing strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
