Accountant - Ajman

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Ajman. The successful candidate should have a strong background in accounting, with at least two years of experience. The ability to work with a range of systems and software is essential.

The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial records, including income and expenditure, trial balances and balance sheets. They will also be required to ensure that all financial reports are accurate, up-to-date and compliant with relevant legislation. In addition, the Accountant will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable/payable functions and reconciling any discrepancies that arise. They will also need to liaise with other departments to ensure accuracy of data entry and to resolve any outstanding queries or issues.

The successful candidate should demonstrate excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. They should be able to work accurately under pressure, prioritise workloads accordingly, and meet given deadlines. The ability to communicate effectively both within the team and externally is essential.

The salary on offer is 1200 AED per month, negotiable depending on experience and skillset. We are open to considering foreign candidates for this role.

Requirements:

• At least two years’ experience in an accounting role
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles
• Ability to use bookkeeping software packages accurately
