Job Summary:
The Surveyor will be responsible for the accurate survey of land, buildings, and other structures in order to provide detailed measurements and data that can be used by developers, architects, engineers and other professionals. You will use specialist technology to measure distances accurately and update maps with any changes or developments.

Job Responsibilities:
• Conducting accurate surveys using specialist technology
• Collecting data from sources such as aerial photography, satellite imagery, field notes or interviews with landowners
• Updating maps with any changes or developments
• Calculating measurements such as area, height or depth
• Analysing geographical data for residential planning applications
• Presenting findings accurately in reports for clients
• Working with developers to ensure building regulations are adhered to

Qualifications:
• Relevant educational qualification in surveying/mapping/geography/engineering etc.
• Good understanding of geographical information systems (GIS)
• Proficiency in using specialist software such as AutoCAD/ArcGIS etc.
• Excellent numeracy skills with strong attention to detail
