We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Librarian to join our team at Ras-al-Khaimah. As a Librarian, you will have the opportunity to provide library patrons with excellent service, assist in the development of the library’s collections, and promote programs and activities that will engage the community.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the library’s collections, including cataloging and classifying new materials, shelving books and other materials in their proper place, and helping patrons locate items. You will also provide reference services by helping patrons locate information available in print or online resources. Additionally, you will be asked to develop programming for library patrons of all ages and coordinate volunteers for events.

To qualify for this position you must have excellent customer service skills and a strong knowledge of library policies and procedures. You should also have experience working with computers to manage databases of library collections as well as knowledge of cataloging systems. A Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or a related field is preferred but not required. We are ready to consider a foreigner for this position with minimal work experience. The salary is 900 AED per month.
