El-Ain Public Library is looking for an experienced and motivated librarian to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing library resources and materials, and engaging the public with library services.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in library sciences or related field, experience in a public library setting, knowledge of computer hardware and software, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. In addition, the candidate must be able to communicate effectively with patrons as well as other staff members.

The job responsibilities include but are not limited to: organizing and shelving library materials; providing assistance to patrons seeking information; managing book borrowing systems; maintaining databases of books and other materials; assisting in cataloguing new items; developing plans for library programming; creating promotional materials; coordinating special events; and helping patrons find the right material for their needs.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of 1100 AED per month plus benefits such as vacation days and health insurance. We are ready to consider an immigrant too.
