Petroleum Engineer in Dubai, UAE


We are looking for an experienced and creative Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Dubai. As a Petroleum Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, constructing and managing the production of oil and gas from oilfields. You will also be responsible for evaluating and analysing the effectiveness of new technologies.

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in the oil and gas sector. You must possess excellent problem-solving skills, be self-motivated, and have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Knowledge of relevant technologies such as drilling technology, reservoir engineering, enhanced oil recovery processes is also essential.

In this role you will:
• Develop drilling plans and designs to optimize production levels
• Implement cost-effective processes to improve productivity
• Monitor the performance of wells to ensure optimal production levels
• Analyse data from wells to identify potential problems
• Ensure safety guidelines are met throughout all operations
• Perform tests on samples from sites to assess production levels
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulations
• Train junior engineers on best practices for achieving optimal efficiency

The successful candidate must possess strong communication skills both written and verbal; excellent interpersonal skills; strong mathematical aptitude; computer literate; good understanding of geology; and problem-solving abilities. Furthermore, fluency in English is essential for this position. A valid UAE driving licence is also highly preferable. We are ready to consider candidates with no experience provided they have the right qualifications. The salary offered is 1000AED per month.
