Electrician - Doha, Qatar

We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This position offers a salary of 1500 and we are open to considering a foreigner for the role.

The job entails the following responsibilities:
- Installing electrical systems and equipment in accordance with safety standards.
- Maintaining electrical systems and equipment such as transformers, switchgear, etc.
- Troubleshooting and repairing breakdowns in electrical systems.
- Identifying defective wiring and make repairs accordingly.
- Carrying out preventive maintenance on all electrical systems.
- Evaluating electrical components for proper operation and replace defective parts as needed.
- Ensuring that all installations are compliant with applicable codes and regulations.
- Responding quickly to emergency calls in order to ensure safety of personnel and equipment.
- Assisting other trades in the installation of wiring systems where necessary.

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience as an electrician or similar role - Solid knowledge of electrical wiring codes and regulations - Ability to read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, etc. - Excellent problem solving skills - Ability to work at heights or in cramped spaces - Good hand-eye coordination - High attention to detail - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Valid license or certification as an electrician is preferred but not required
