Job Responsibilities:
• Educating guests on the different wines available at the restaurant.
• Recommending wine pairings with dishes served at the restaurant.
• Assisting guests in selecting wine that would best fit their taste preferences.
• Stocking and ordering wines as necessary.
• Upkeeping knowledge on current trends in the world of wine and spirits.
• Maintaining records on stock levels, sales and costs related to wines served at the restaurant.

Qualification Requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience as a Sommelier or similar role in a fine dining setting is preferred (but not required). • Extensive knowledge of various wines from different regions around the world is essential. • Must be organized, detail-oriented and have excellent customer service skills. • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks at once is essential. • Must possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
