Sommelier Job in Dubai

Job Summary:
We are looking for a professional Sommelier to join the team at our hotel in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have an excellent knowledge and understanding of all things related to wine, as well as a deep appreciation and passion for wine. You will be responsible for recommending wines based on customers’ individual tastes and preferences, pairing food with appropriate wines, providing wine service to patrons, supervising the storage and rotation of wines, training staff on the various types of wines available, and managing wine inventory.

Demands for the Candidate:
We require our Sommelier to have completed formal education related to the field of wine and spirits. Furthermore, you should possess at least two years of experience in a similar role. Additionally, you must be knowledgeable about all aspects of pairing food with appropriate wines as well as having an excellent customer service attitude. You should be able to create exciting new tasting menus that will captivate customers’ interest while still remaining within budget constraints. Lastly, you must possess strong communication skills both verbal and written in order to effectively interact with customers and staff members alike.
