We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Dubai. We offer a competitive salary of 1500 AED per month and are happy to consider an immigrant for this position.

The successful candidate should possess excellent analytical and organizational skills, as well as strong communication skills. They should also be able to work independently and with minimal supervision. We expect the Librarian to have a Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or a related field, although no experience is required.

The primary responsibility of the Librarian is to maintain our library collections by selecting appropriate books, magazines, newspapers, electronic resources, and other materials for our patrons. They will also be responsible for organizing materials on shelves; processing new materials; monitoring usage statistics; assisting patrons with locating information; providing reference services; promoting library services within the community; conducting research using automated systems; managing interlibrary loan requests; assisting with special projects as needed; and preserving library resources.

The Librarian will be expected to work a standard 40-hour week with occasional evening or weekend shifts depending on requirements. They must also be comfortable using computers and other digital tools as well as traditional library equipment such as scanners and copiers.
