Accountant in Dubai, UAE


We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records and providing general bookkeeping services.

This position requires an ability to multi-task, work independently, and meet tight deadlines. The ideal candidate should have strong problem solving skills, be organized and highly proficient with accounting software.

Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain and review accounting systems and procedures
• Maintain accurate books on accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll records etc.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial transactions
• Prepare financial reports for management
• Prepare tax returns as required
• Monitor company income and expenditure
• Ensure compliance with existing regulations concerning accounting and taxation
• Review internal controls over financial reporting.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not mandatory; we are open to considering candidates without experience if they demonstrate a strong aptitude for accounting principles
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Excellent problem solving, communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary: 1600 AED
