Land surveyor in Al-Kuwait, Kuwait


We are looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate measurement and mapping of land and land boundaries.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in land surveying, as well as a solid understanding of existing surveying methods and technologies. They must have excellent problem solving skills, and be able to interpret and accurately record results from their work. They must also possess excellent communication, organizational and time management skills, allowing them to work effectively alone or as part of a team.

The successful candidate will be expected to undertake tasks such as:
- Preparing survey plans, sketches and diagrams, using specialist computer software;
- Collecting data using electronic instruments such as Total Stations, GPS receivers and GIS software;
- Undertaking the accurate setting out of boundaries, levels and other features;
- Interpreting data from aerial photographs;
- Carrying out engineering surveys such as volume calculations;
- Establishing control networks with accurate horizontal control points;
- Identifying potential hazards related to health/safety at sites;
- Making sure all records are accurate and up to date;
- Liaising with clients when needed.
