Chef Vacancy – Riyadh

We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional cuisine and providing high quality service to our customers. They will also be expected to lead a team of other Chefs, manage kitchen staff and ensure food safety procedures are followed.

The ideal candidate should have a strong culinary background, excellent leadership skills and a high degree of creativity in the kitchen. They should also have knowledge of current health and safety regulations and be passionate about providing outstanding customer service.

Job Summary:
The Chef is responsible for creating dishes that are both delicious and visually appealing. They must ensure that the kitchen runs smoothly, plan menus and oversee food preparation, delegate tasks to the cooking team, monitor stock levels and maintain hygiene standards in the workspace. The Chef will also be expected to collaborate with other departments to provide a holistic customer experience.

Demands for the Candidate:
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a chef in a professional setting
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to lead a team of cooks
• Strong understanding of food safety procedures
• Creative flair with an eye for detail
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Tasks:
• Planning menus according to customer preferences, budget constraints, seasonal ingredients and current trends
• Preparing meals according to recipes or instructions provided by customers or supervisors using fresh ingredients while observing health & safety regulations
• Monitoring stock levels of raw materials and refilling inventory when needed
• Overseeing kitchen staff performance & delegating tasks accordingly

Basic Requirements:
• Must possess valid work authorization documents in Saudi Arabia
• Ability to work long hours including weekends & holidays
