Electrician - Doha, Qatar

We are searching for a reliable and detail-oriented Electrician with a strong technical background to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing electrical maintenance service, assembling and installing electrical equipment, and troubleshooting electrical systems.

The Electrician we are seeking should have excellent problem solving skills as well as the ability to identify potential issues before they occur. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, along with certifications related to their field of expertise.

Responsibilities:
• Install, repair, maintain and inspect electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures and control systems
• Follow blueprints, wiring diagrams and building plans to meet the requirements of any given project
• Test circuits and components for continuity using test instruments such as ohmmeters, voltmeters or other testing devices
• Inspect electrical components such as transformers, transfer switches and circuit breakers
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment or fixtures using hand tools or power tools
• Identify potential hazards related to electrical work in the workplace
• Adhere to all safety protocols while on the job site
• Keep accurate records of maintenance requests and tasks completed Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrician
• Technical degree in electricity from an accredited institution
• Knowledge of applicable codes governing the installation of electrical systems
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Familiarity with industrial control systems including PLCs
• Good problem-solving skills
• Excellent hand-eye coordination

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
