Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or related field
• At least two years of experience as an Optometrist
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Valid license to practice optometry issued by Qatar Council of Health Specialties
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages
• Diagnose ocular conditions or diseases and provide appropriate treatment options
• Prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses, taking into account patient lifestyle, work environment, and visual demands
• Educate patients on proper vision care, eye health topics, and corrective lens use
• Monitor the progress of ongoing eye conditions such as glaucoma

Job Description:
As an Optometrist with our organization you will use advanced testing equipment to diagnose ocular problems. You will be responsible for performing comprehensive eye examinations on both adult and pediatric patients. You will also be responsible for prescribing eyeglasses or contact lenses based on each patient’s individual needs. Additionally, you should have the ability to recognize ocular diseases or conditions that require referral to a specialist. You should also have excellent communication skills in order to educate patients on proper vision care.
