Optometrist Job in Doha
We are looking for a talented Optometrist to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will need to possess a high level of knowledge, experience and skill in the areas of optometry practice, diagnosis and treatment.

Requirements for the Candidate:
• Hold a degree in Optometry from an accredited college or university
• Have minimum 3 years of experience as an Optometrist
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluent in English both written and verbal
• Preference will be given to applicant who is already located in Doha or willing to relocate there
• We are ready to consider a foreigner for this position
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct eye examinations on patients including refraction tests, visual field tests, tonometry tests, etc.
• Diagnose vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and presbyopia
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses or other treatments depending on patient’s condition
• Advise patients on proper eye care methods such as use of protective eyewear when playing sports
• Monitor patients’ progress after treatment by performing follow-up exams or referring them to other medical specialists if necessary
Qualities:
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain various vision conditions clearly
• Ability to stay calm under pressure
• Strong problem-solving skills
