Accountant in Doha, Qatar


We are looking for a motivated and experienced Accountant to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be an important part of our finance team and will be responsible for providing support in the areas of financial analysis, budgeting, accounting and overall financial management.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least two years of experience in a similar role. A CPA certification or other relevant qualifications would be an advantage. The successful applicant should have strong analytical skills and excellent knowledge of accounting principles, as well as experience with QuickBooks or other accounting applications.

The Accountant must possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues and senior management. The successful applicant must also demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook.

The role will involve maintaining accurate financial records; preparing budgets; monitoring expenses; analyzing accounts; making recommendations for improvement; collaborating with other departments; preparing reports; reconciling bank statements; reviewing accounts receivable/payable transactions; preparing journal entries; completing general ledger reconciliation and developing processes to ensure accuracy of all data.

We offer a competitive salary of 1600 QAR per month to the right candidate who is ready to take on this important role within our organization. We are also willing to consider candidates from abroad who do not have previous experience in the field.
