Civil Engineer in Doha, Qatar


We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Doha. This position holds a salary of 1700 and is open to foreigners.

The ideal candidate must have a degree in civil engineering and at least 5 years of experience working in the industry. He/She should be well-versed with engineering principles and practices, as well as design software such as AutoCAD. The successful candidate must be able to read, understand, and interpret plans, drawings, specifications, and regulations. A sound knowledge of materials testing and usage is required.

The primary responsibilities involve overseeing construction sites, ensuring that work is completed according to plans and specifications; ensuring that the highest standards of safety are maintained; handling project scheduling; making sure that all construction materials are available; preparing cost estimates for projects; working with local authorities to ensure that construction projects meet necessary requirements; coordinating the activities of subcontractors; monitoring the progress of projects against established timelines; participating in contract negotiations with clients; writing reports on project progress; maintaining records related to project activities.

The successful applicant must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong organizational skills. He/She should also be highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities. The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously is essential for this role. A valid driver's license is also required for this role.
