Accountant - Dubai

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial records of the company and providing accounting support to other departments. You must be highly organized, detail-oriented and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the financial records of the company, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll and budgeting
• Perform month-end closing activities such as journal entries, reconciliations and analysis
• Prepare financial reports such as monthly income/expense statements and balance sheets
• Monitor cash flow and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Prepare tax returns and provide tax advice as needed
• Assist with developing internal control procedures to enhance accuracy in bookkeeping functions
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of experience working with accounting systems in a corporate environment • Advanced computer skills including MS Office Suite (Excel) • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Excellent communication skills both written & verbal • Willingness to learn new software applications & processes • Ability to prioritize tasks according to importance • Must be willing to relocate to Dubai if necessary • Foreigners are welcome to apply.
