Graphic Designer Job in Doha

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly creative Graphic Designer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating visual concepts using software to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers. The Graphic Designer will develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines, and corporate reports.

Needs for the Candidate:
The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. They must be creative and have an eye for detail; have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision; have excellent communication skills; be able to work under pressure; be able to adhere to tight deadlines; and have a portfolio of work that demonstrates their creativity.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research
• Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
• Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time
• Working with a wide range of media including photography and computer-aided design (CAD)
• Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work
• Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief
• Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches and working on layouts ready for print

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field • Proven experience as a graphic designer or in related field • Knowledge of design techniques (e.g., prototyping) • Proficient with required desktop publishing tools (e.g., InDesign) • Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity etc. • Familiarity with printing processes • A keen eye for aesthetics ranging from typography to color theory • Ability to work methodically within tight deadlines • Up-to-date knowledge about latest trends in visual arts
