Mason Job in Doha
We are looking for a skilled Mason to work on construction projects in Doha. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate their knowledge of masonry techniques, tools and materials while ensuring that their work meets the highest quality standards.

Requirements for the Candidate
• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in masonry construction
• Able to read and understand technical drawings
• Exhibit excellent attention to detail
• Have an excellent working knowledge of building regulations
• Good physical fitness and stamina as well as manual dexterity
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team environment
• Flexible approach with the ability to multitask, prioritize workloads and meet deadlines when required.
• English language proficiency is a must. Immigrants are welcome.

Job Description
The Mason will be expected to undertake the following tasks:

• Interpret drawings and specifications in order to determine materials, tools, resources and sequence of activities required for a job;
• Set out walls, foundations, columns and other structures, using appropriate measuring instruments;
• Lay bricks/blocks/stones correctly using mortar/concrete;
• Cut blocks or bricks using hand-held power saws or cutting machines;
• Check joints between blocks/bricks for accuracy;
• Repair damaged walls or other structures by replacing existing material with new one;
• Carry out minor repairs such as pointing up joints with cement mortar;
• Check levels on walls during building process using spirit levels or lasers;
• Ensure safety requirements are met at all times.
