Executive Chef - 1700 Salary - Doha
Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Executive Chef to join the team at our Doha restaurant. This position requires the successful candidate to have exceptional cooking skills and a keen eye for detail. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, developing menus, creating recipes and maintaining quality control standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Develop menus that are creative, flavorful and attractive
• Develop recipes based on customer preferences, dietary needs and food trends
• Manage kitchen staff in order to ensure quality food is prepared in a timely manner
• Ensure kitchen is well stocked with necessary ingredients
• Monitor sanitation practices to maintain a healthy environment
• Inspect food preparation areas to ensure that health codes are followed at all times
• Train kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques and recipe execution
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
• Evaluate performance of kitchen staff and provide feedback as needed
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred but not required
• 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
• Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques, flavors and presentation styles
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Good understanding of sanitation regulations • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment • Certified Food Handler (preferred)
Any Other Relevant Requirements:
Must have a valid work permit for Qatar. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to effectively manage multiple tasks.
