Responsibilities
The Optometrist will be responsible for providing professional eye care services to our patients. This includes performing comprehensive eye exams, ordering contact lenses or eyeglasses as necessary, diagnosing and treating vision conditions, providing counseling on vision correction options for our patients, monitoring patients’ eye conditions over time, interpreting test results and making referrals when necessary. The Optometrist may also need to provide emergency eye care services when needed.

Qualifications
Applicants must have at least two years of experience as an Optometrist in order to be considered for this position. An optometry degree from an accredited institution is required along with certification from the relevant authorities. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work well independently or within a team environment. They should also possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to make sound decisions quickly in emergency situations.
