Pharmacist Job in Doha

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Pharmacist to join our team in Doha. You will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical services to our clients, ensuring they receive the correct drugs and advice. You must have a valid license to practice pharmacy in Qatar and be willing to take part in continuing education activities as required. The salary for this position is 1400QR per month. We are ready to consider an immigrant for this position.

Job Responsibilities:
• Dispense prescribed medications, provide information about medications and their use, and monitor patient drug therapies
• Check for drug interactions, advise on dosage instructions, give advice on health matters and answer patient questions
• Consult with physicians and other health practitioners regarding drug therapies
• Compound medications according to prescriptions received from physicians
• Ensure all medications are stored correctly and within the recommended temperature range
• Monitor inventory levels of drugs and supplies, order new stocks when required
• Participate in continuing education activities as required by the government or hospital policy
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications in Pharmacy
• Valid license to practice pharmacy in Qatar or equivalent is mandatory
• Experience working with prescription drugs is preferred but not essential; newly qualified pharmacists may also apply
• Good knowledge of current medical trends, treatments and techniques
• Great communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
