Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business in Doha, Qatar as an Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports. The ideal candidate should be an organized, detail-oriented professional with excellent analytical skills and a drive to complete tasks quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities
• Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information
• Maintain and balance general ledger accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies
• Summarize financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit & loss statement and other reports
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
• Provide technical support to clients on financial issues
• Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
• Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options
• Adhere to federal, state & local legal requirements with regards to finance activities

Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
• Experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks is highly preferred
• Ability to analyze problems as well as identify solutions
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles

We are open to considering candidates who are immigrants or have no experience. Strong communication skills are essential for this role. The salary offered for this position is 1400 QR per month.
