Sommelier Job in Dubai

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sommelier for a vibrant restaurant in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests, and for creating an enjoyable atmosphere that encourages customers to return. The Sommelier should have an in-depth knowledge of a variety of wines and be able to confidently recommend bottles that pair well with the dishes on our menu.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as outstanding interpersonal skills. They must be able to work under pressure, remain calm in difficult situations, and handle customer complaints diplomatically. In addition, they must be organized and have a keen attention to detail.

As the Sommelier, you will create wine menus that reflect seasonal changes in our menu items and select appropriate wines to match the cuisine. You will also supervise staff members who serve wine and provide training on proper service techniques. Furthermore, you will ensure that all wine is stored properly and at optimum temperature. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all liquor licenses are up-to-date. Lastly, you must demonstrate knowledge of wines from around the world while being familiar with current vintages.

This position offers an excellent salary of 1500 per month (or equivalent). We are willing to consider applicants from other countries who can demonstrate the necessary qualifications and experience required for this role.
