We are looking for a Sommelier to join our team in Dubai and help provide an exceptional dining experience for our customers. Our successful candidate should be passionate about wine and food and committed to providing the highest quality service.

Job Summary:
The Sommelier is responsible for overseeing all aspects of wine service, including menu selections, customer education, and inventory management. The successful candidate will create an inviting atmosphere in the dining area while ensuring that guests receive excellent service. They will also be responsible for developing relationships with wineries, distributors and other suppliers to ensure we have access to the best selection of wines for our customers.

Job Duties:
• Create a warm atmosphere in the dining area by engaging with guests on their favorite wines
• Educate customers on wine pairings with dishes from our menu
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels and orders placed
• Ensure all employees adhere to safety regulations and proper sanitation standards when handling food and beverages
• Develop relationships with wineries, distributors and other suppliers to ensure access to the best selection of wines
• Monitor customer feedback regarding wine selections and make adjustments as needed
• Assist with menu planning by suggesting new wines or pairings that may appeal to guests
• Train staff on food-wine pairing techniques and tasting notes

Required Skills & Experience:
• Proven working experience as a Sommelier or similar position in a reputable restaurant or hospitality setting
• Expert knowledge of various grape varietals, wine production techniques, varieties of wines from around the world
• Thorough understanding of food-wine pairing principles • Ability to communicate clearly with guests about their preferences
• Great organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

This position offers a salary package worth 900 AED per month. We are open to considering foreign applicants who meet all job requirements.
