Welder Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding materials together, such as steel and aluminum, in accordance with engineering specifications. They must have a good eye for detail and take pride in their workmanship. Our ideal candidate should also be able to read blueprints and drawings accurately, as well as have a good understanding of welding processes and techniques.

Job Duties
• Read blueprints and drawings accurately to determine the dimensions of the parts that need to welded together
• Utilize specialized welding equipment such as arc welders, gas welders and plasma cutters
• Monitor the welding process carefully to ensure the quality of the welded pieces
• Inspect finished pieces for defects or any other inconsistencies
• Maintain all tools and equipment used on a regular basis
• Follow safety instructions at all times when using welding tools and equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers
Qualifications & Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; education in welding technology is preferred
• Proven experience as a Welder with relevant certifications is essential • Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings accurately
• Knowledge of safety precautions when working with welding equipment
• Good understanding of various welding processes such as arc, gas and tungsten inert gas (TIG) • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Good physical strength and stamina
