The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
• Minimum of two years’ experience in welding;
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings;
• Knowledge of common welding techniques and safety procedures;
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity;
• Good understanding of materials, processes, tools, and methods used in welding;
• Proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget;
• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.

As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing various welding activities related to the construction or repair of metal products. Your duties will include: cutting metals using torches or plasma cutters, preparing metal surfaces for welding by grinding them down, positioning metals according to blueprint specifications, heating metal parts prior to welding them together, operating shielded metal arc welders or gas metal arc welders (GMAW), inspecting completed welds for defects or inaccuracies, and maintaining all equipment used in the process.
