Land surveyor in Al-Kuwait, Kuwait


We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for surveying land and providing detailed measurements and calculations of land areas, as well as creating maps and collecting data.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and the capacity to work with accuracy and precision. Previous experience with survey equipment as well as working knowledge of land laws is also essential.

Responsibilities include:
• Conducting field surveys using survey equipment such as total stations, GPS systems, etc.
• Collecting data about land areas including elevation, shape, contour lines, boundaries and other relevant factors
• Using mathematical calculations to determine distances between points on the earth’s surface
• Analyzing aerial photographs or satellite images to measure differences in terrain or distinguish different types of objects
• Compiling data from field surveys into graphs or digital maps
• Creating reports on survey findings for clients and other stakeholders
• Ensuring accuracy of all surveys conducted by double-checking calculations with other surveyors or engineers
• Keeping up-to-date on changing regulations related to surveying activities.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience working in a similar role
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Good math skills including the ability to interpret trigonometric functions • Knowledge of various mapping techniques including GIS (Geographic Information Systems) • Ability to analyze complex datasets • Proficiency in using specialized surveying tools such as total station and GPS systems • Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions • Valid driver’s license is preferred
