The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles, ensuring that they are running at optimal performance. This includes diagnosing problems with vehicles, making repairs, and performing preventative maintenance tasks. The successful candidate must have strong communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repair work on automobiles in a timely manner. Successful candidates must be able to diagnose problems with vehicles, perform repairs accurately, and possess excellent customer service skills. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent qualification as well as 2 years of experience in auto mechanics or related fields.

Responsibilities:
• Diagnose mechanical problems with vehicles using appropriate testing equipment
• Perform necessary repairs such as replacing parts or components
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance services such as oil changes
• Inspect vehicles after repairs to ensure proper functioning
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and keep records of all services performed on each vehicle
• Communicate any issues or concerns regarding vehicles directly to supervisor or manager

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification is preferred but not required
• Minimum 2 years experience in auto mechanics or related fields required
• Ability to read technical manuals along with basic computer skills required
• Knowledge of electronic diagnostic tools preferred
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
