Chemical Engineer

A leading construction and engineering company in Dubai is looking for a Chemical Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemical Engineering or related field, with at least three years of experience in a similar role. The successful applicant will have excellent problem-solving skills, be highly organized and able to work independently on multiple projects. He/She will be able to work accurately and efficiently under pressure, have strong communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment.

The primary responsibility of the Chemical Engineer is to design chemical engineering processes for new products and develop existing processes for improved efficiency, safety, cost reduction, quality control, environmental protection and waste management. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new concepts from laboratory experiments through full-scale implementation of industrial process solutions. The engineer may also lead teams of engineers and technicians working on projects as well as manage subcontractors or vendors when necessary.

The successful candidate must possess excellent knowledge of chemistry, mathematics and physics principles as well as strong analytical skills. He/She must be familiar with industry best practices related to process design, safety regulations and the use of advanced computer-aided engineering tools such as CAD/CAM software. Additionally, he/she must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to effectively lead teams of engineers or technicians towards common goals.
