Cashier - Dubai

We are looking for an experienced Cashier to join our team in Dubai. As a Cashier you will be responsible for handling financial transactions and providing customer service in a timely manner. You will be required to accurately record and process payments, maintain records of transactions, balance registers, and provide customer service when needed.

The successful candidate should demonstrate:
• Proven experience as a Cashier or relevant position
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred
• Immigrant status is a plus

Job Description:
As a Cashier, your primary responsibility is to ensure that all customers are served promptly and accurately. You will also be expected to maintain a clean work environment while ensuring the accuracy of all transactions and reports. Your duties include but are not limited to:
• Greeting customers as they enter the store and assisting them with their purchases
• Processing payments using point-of-sale terminals or cash registers
• Balancing cash drawers at the end of each shift
• Maintaining accurate records of all transactions
• Providing excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving complaints in a timely manner

Requirements for the Candidate:
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate good communication skills as well as excellent organizational skills. They should also have prior experience working in similar positions. Other requirements include:
• Proven experience as a Cashier or relevant position in retail setting; restaurant experience is preferred
• Good time management skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written • Attention to detail • Ability to remain calm under pressure • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred • Immigrant status is a plus
