Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The engineer will be responsible for designing, developing and troubleshooting mechanical systems and components to ensure the highest efficiency and reliability.

The successful candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field, with at least 5 years of experience in the same role. The ideal candidate should have considerable knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices, as well as a good understanding of industry standards and manufacturing processes. He/She should also possess strong problem-solving skills with an ability to think outside of the box when necessary.

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test and evaluate mechanical systems and components
• Develop drawing schematics to identify components needed for new designs
• Ensure design accuracy by applying the principles of physics and materials science
• Utilize CAD software to develop models that meet design specifications
• Make calculations to determine design parameters such as size, shape, strength and compatibility with other parts
• Specify materials needed for product designs that meet customer requirements
• Collaborate with other departments in order to ensure product quality
• Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical systems and components

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• At least 5 years work experience in similar role
• Expertise in CAD software (AutoCAD)
• Knowledgeable about industry standards and quality assurance practices

Salary: 1700 QAR per month (negotiable). We are also ready to consider foreign applicants.
