Job Description:
As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for performing eye examinations on patients, diagnosing vision disorders and diseases, prescribing medications and glasses, monitoring eye health and providing general advice on vision care. You will also be responsible for keeping accurate records of patient’s medical history, determining the best course of treatment and referring patients to other healthcare professionals as needed.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or similar field
• Valid professional license to practice optometry in Qatar
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of optical instruments and medical terminology
• Ability to analyze patient’s condition accurately
• Fluent in English language (written and spoken)
