We are currently seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Sommelier for a role in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting guests with selecting and serving wines that are suitable to their taste and preference, as well as maintaining the wine list.

The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience working as a Sommelier in a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably at a 5-star establishment. They must also have certification or diploma from an accredited institution. Additionally, they must have excellent knowledge of wine regions, vintages, types of grape varieties, and various styles of wines. They should also be able to advise guests on food and wine pairings based on the menu offerings.

The successful candidate should demonstrate excellent customer service skills and be highly organized. They should possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with guests and colleagues alike. The Sommelier will ensure that all wine stock is properly stored in the cellar according to standards set by the hotel management, as well as ensuring that all glasses are correctly cleaned after use by guests.

The salary for this position is 1600 AED per month plus tips & benefits depending on experience and performance within the role. We are open to considering foreign candidates for this role who have necessary qualifications & certifications required for this position.
