Accountant
We are looking for a highly motivated Accountant to join our team in Khawr Fakkan. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports and analyzing data. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and growing company.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as an accountant or relevant role
• Good knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, bookkeeping software and databases
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Immigrant status is welcome.
Responsibilities:
• Compile financial information to prepare entries into accounts such as general ledger accounts, document business transactions
• Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable; ensure timely payments of invoices and processing of receipt transactions
• Reconcile bank statements by comparing statements with general ledger; prepare the necessary journal entry adjustments when necessary
