Electrical Engineer Job Summary

Responsibilities
• Design electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects
• Troubleshoot existing electrical systems to identify any potential issues
• Develop detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, budgets and resource allocations
• Develop test protocols for electrical components and systems prior to installation
• Ensure all safety standards are met when installing or repairing electrical systems
• Monitor progress of installations or repairs to ensure compliance with standards
• Research new technologies related to the field
• Ensure all projects are completed in accordance with established timelines and budgets
Qualifications & Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the field
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience with design software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
• Ability to interpret blueprints or schematics
• Knowledge of national electric codes is required
• Excellent problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team • Ability to lift up to 50lbs • Willingness to travel when needed • Foreign applicants welcome
