Data Analyst - Doha

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our team in Doha. This individual must have a deep understanding of data and analytics, as well as the ability to analyze and interpret data in order to create insights that support decision-making. The ideal candidate should also be able to use data mining techniques, such as clustering and regression analysis, to identify patterns and trends.

Responsibilities:
• Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets;
• Report on findings based on analysis of collected data;
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, surveys, and other methods for collecting information;
• Process raw information into analytical reports;
• Create visualizations such as graphs or charts to make the results more comprehensible;
• Use natural language processing (NLP) tools for extracting insights from unstructured text;
• Develop predictive models using machine learning algorithms;
• Monitor performance and quality control of processes related to data management.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or similar field;
• Proven experience with programming languages (Python/R) used for statistical modeling & analysis;
• Strong knowledge of database systems (SQL);
• Ability to work with large datasets; • Excellent communication skills.
