Fitter – Al Ahmadi, Kuwait

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Fitter to join our team in Al Ahmadi. This position requires the successful candidate to be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience as a Fitter, demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities, and be able to work with minimal supervision.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and modifying mechanical equipment used in the production process. They will also be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is working properly and efficiently at all times. They will need to identify any potential problems with the equipment and take appropriate action to fix them. In addition, they will need to make sure that all safety regulations are followed when installing or maintaining any equipment.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of mechanical systems including but not limited to pumps, motors, valves, and other related components. They should also possess excellent communication skills as they will be interacting with customers as well as colleagues on a regular basis. The ability to troubleshoot issues quickly is essential for this role.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of experience as a Fitter
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems
• Ability to read schematics and diagrams accurately
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot quickly

Skills:
• Knowledge of safety regulations when installing or maintaining mechanical systems
• Proficient in using hand tools such as wrenches, drills, etc.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance
