Job Responsibilities:
The Truck Driver’s main responsibility is to transport goods safely from one location to another on time and in accordance with company policies. Other duties include checking loads for accuracy before leaving the warehouse; inspecting vehicles prior to departure; following designated routes; unloading cargo at destination; reporting any accidents or incidents on the road; maintaining records of cargo delivered; adhering to applicable safety regulations; maintaining a clean truck interior; completing paperwork accurately and promptly; loading/unloading cargo when necessary; refuelling the truck when needed; ensuring vehicle maintenance requirements are met; carrying out regular inspections of vehicle parts such as tyres, brakes etc.; performing minor repairs when needed; assisting colleagues when necessary.
