Job Summary:
We are currently looking for an experienced and talented Pastry Chef to join our team at a restaurant in Riyadh. This role requires creativity and passion for preparing outstanding desserts. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating a wide range of cakes and other pastries, as well as ensuring that the highest standards of hygiene and quality are maintained at all times. They must be able to work quickly, efficiently and accurately in order to meet the demands of the restaurant.

Duties & Responsibilities:
The Pastry Chef’s primary responsibility is to create exceptional cakes, desserts and other pastries for the restaurant's customers. This includes baking cakes from scratch, decorating them with intricate designs, creating mousses, sorbets and ice creams, as well as creating new recipes. The Pastry Chef will also be responsible for managing the pastry kitchen staff, developing training programs and maintaining a high level of hygiene and cleanliness at all times. Additionally, they must manage stock levels in order to ensure there is always enough ingredients on hand to meet customer demand.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate should have a solid background in pastry making or culinary arts coupled with 2-3 years' experience working in a professional kitchen environment. A certification or diploma from an accredited culinary school is preferred but not essential. They should also have excellent attention to detail when it comes to presentation of their desserts as well as being able to work under pressure whilst maintaining a professional attitude at all times. Candidates must also possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written so that they can effectively communicate with colleagues, subordinates and customers alike. A valid work permit is required if you are an overseas candidate applying for this position.

This position offers a competitive salary of 1400 per month along with other benefits such as paid vacation time off, health insurance coverage and meals during shifts
